Phil came to me this morning and said he thought we should get a dumpy level before we went any further. It will save us a lot of time, be useful for many other applications during the house building and an asset if we decide to build a studio or any other construction we're involved with (eg Moira and Phil's new house.) I agree, as I said yesterday, it would have been beneficial to have had one for the footings. So today I am on the Internet scoping for appropriate products.

It looked like we had 5-10mm of welcome rain on the block judging by the radar yesterday evening. They're predicting more to come... fingers crossed.
